Youth Music Awards

The Santa Cruz Baroque Festival celebrated its 34th season by sponsoring our 5th annual competition for high school musicians in chamber ensembles. The winning ensemble performed at the beginning of the Baroque Festival's Concert II, Sunday, March 18, 2007, at the UCSC Music Center Recital Hall at 7:30 PM. Second place winners and honorable mention award groups were recognized at the March 18th concert

2007 Competition

It gives us great pleasure to announce the results of the 5th annual Santa Cruz Baroque Festival Youth Chamber Music Competition. All the groups who competed performed well and were a pleasure to hear. We are gratified to witness how chamber music is alive and expanding in our region!
